Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Revenue Fluent ("the Platform") is an HR intelligence tool created and operated by Kumar Vivek ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with your use of the Platform at humacity.com.

This Policy is written to comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act) of India and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for users in the European Economic Area.

2. What data we collect

Platform usage data

Revenue Fluent is a static web application hosted on GitHub Pages. We do not operate a backend server, a database, or any data collection infrastructure. We do not collect:

• Names, email addresses, or contact information
• IP addresses or device identifiers
• Usage analytics or behavioural tracking
• Account information (there are no accounts)

Preference data (localStorage)

The Platform stores the following in your browser's localStorage, on your device only, never transmitted to any server:

• Your Practitioner Profile answers (role, org context, financial confidence, primary challenge)
• Your Human Confidence Index (HCI) settings
• Your scenario preferences

This data lives entirely on your device. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage or using the "Clear Profile" button in My Profile.

3. Data you upload

Before uploading any employee data, you must ensure:

• You have the legal authority to process the data under applicable law
• The data has been collected lawfully and with appropriate consent where required
• You have anonymised or pseudonymised the data where possible, we strongly recommend replacing employee names with anonymous IDs
• You are complying with your organisation's data protection policies

Revenue Fluent acts as a data processor tool in your browser only. We are not a data controller for any employee data you upload. We have no access to, and cannot see, any data you upload.

4. No server storage, how it actually works

Your uploaded data never leaves your browser. Here is precisely what happens when you upload a CSV file:

• The file is read by your browser's JavaScript engine entirely in memory
• The data is stored in sessionStorage, a temporary browser memory space that is completely and permanently deleted when you close the tab or browser window
• No data is sent to any server, API, or third-party service
• No data is written to your device's permanent storage
• No data persists after your session ends

To remove uploaded data immediately during a session: click "Clear & Remove" on the Upload Your Data page, or simply close the browser tab.

5. Cookies and local storage

Revenue Fluent does not use cookies. The Platform uses browser localStorage solely to store your profile preferences (see Section 2). No tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies are used.

6. Third-party services

The Platform uses the following third-party services:

• GitHub Pages, hosting provider. GitHub may log standard server access data (IP addresses, browser types) as per GitHub's Privacy Statement
• Google Fonts, font delivery. Google may collect standard request data as per Google's Privacy Policy
• Gumroad, payment processing for paid tiers. Gumroad handles all payment data independently per Gumroad's Privacy Policy. Revenue Fluent never receives your payment details.

7. DPDP Act 2023 (India)

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, Revenue Fluent is committed to the following principles:

• Lawful purpose: Profile preferences stored in localStorage are used solely to personalise your experience on the Platform
• Data minimisation: We store only what is necessary for the stated purpose. We store no personal data whatsoever on our infrastructure
• Consent: Before uploading employee data, users must provide explicit consent acknowledging their responsibility for the data
• Right to erasure: You can delete all locally stored preferences at any time via My Profile → Clear Profile, or by clearing browser localStorage
• No cross-border transfer: Since no data is transmitted to any server, cross-border transfer does not apply

If you are uploading personal data of Indian citizens as part of your CSV upload, you, as the data fiduciary, are responsible for compliance with the DPDP Act in respect of that data.

8. GDPR (European Users)

For users in the European Economic Area, Revenue Fluent processes no personal data on its own infrastructure. The legal basis for storing profile preferences in localStorage is legitimate interest (personalising the user experience), these preferences contain no personally identifiable information.

Any employee data you upload is processed as a controller-to-processor relationship where you are the data controller and Revenue Fluent is a client-side processing tool. Since no data leaves your browser, GDPR transfer mechanisms do not apply.

9. Your rights

Regardless of jurisdiction, you have the following rights in respect of data stored locally on your device:

• Right to access: Your profile preferences are visible in My Profile at any time
• Right to erasure: Delete all preferences via My Profile → Clear Profile
• Right to data portability: Your preferences are stored in standard JSON format in your browser's localStorage
• Right to withdraw consent: Close the browser tab to permanently delete any uploaded session data

10. Children

Revenue Fluent is designed for HR professionals and is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.
